Government is considering how to deal with tax advice at “Raising standards in the tax advice market: strengthening the regulatory framework and improving registration.”
This consultation explores options to raise standards in the tax advice market and will be of interest to tax practitioners (providers of tax advice and services), their clients or potential clients and tax and accountancy professional and regulatory bodies.
The consultation seeks views on possible approaches, impacts and design features of those options.

HM Treasury has published a consultation on improving the effectiveness of the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds (Information on the Payer) Regulations 2017 (the ‘MLRs’), which place requirements onto a range of businesses to identify and prevent money laundering and terrorist financing.
